Life-Skills Education that is self-paced
ProU, PACN’s life-skills education program, is focused on the client’s personal growth and healthy relationships. It is self-paced and allows clients to choose classes and/or assignments they feel would be beneficial.
PACN has a large library of topics to choose from, such as: parenting, relationships, physical and emotional health, nutrition, money management, spirituality and more. After completing an assignment, the client can sit down with a trained consultant to discuss what was learned and earn points. These points can be collected to redeem items such as: new baby clothes, baby furniture, strollers, high chairs, cribs etc…For those clients who participate in this program, PACN provides material assistance through the child’s first year.
Volunteers, churches and outside organizations are valuable partners in PACN’s educational support system. Whether by teaching Bible studies, hosting cooking classes, or teaching on other topics of interest, our trusted network of community partners continues to make a significant investment in the lives of our clients.
